Most of my lifestyle family photo sessions (and couples or senior portrait sessions) take place outdoors in our beautiful Berkeley and El Cerrito Hills and surrounding areas during the evening golden hour. WORKING WITH ME
Step 1 – Decide if I’m right for You
You can get a feel for my style and sessions by looking through my family portfolio. Then take a look at my terms and conditions of working with me, and get an overview of my pricing structure (below) for family portraits and couples photography.

If you think we’re a good match, send me a booking request with your details.
Step 2 – Book Your Session & Get Ready!
I’ll review the details of your request and respond with a suggested date and time, and recommended location (usually within 24-48 hours). When we’ve settled on the details for your session, I’ll send your:
1) Photo Session Agreement (contract) outlining details of your session.
2) An invoice for your Session Fee payable by credit card.
When I receive both your signed agreement and payment, you’re session is booked! I’ll send some tips and guidelines to help you prepare for the best session possible, or head to What to wear (and what not to) for your family photo session to start planning your crew’s attire!
Step 3 – View & Purchase Photos
About three weeks after your session, you’ll receive a link to your online gallery where you can view your family’s portraits, mark and compare favorites, and decide which photos you’d like to purchase as prints, wall art, or high-resolution digital files. Your gallery will be online for 30 days.

YOUR WINTER PHOTO SESSION FEE INCLUDES:
- 1-hour photo session for 2 to 5 people (additional people or pets $35 each) at locations within the greater Berkeley and El Cerrito East Bay area
- A private online gallery for 30 days where you can view your collection, sort your favorites, and place orders for high-resolution digitals (see pricing below), professional prints, custom-framed prints and wall art, and lay-flat photo albums.
- A MINIMUM 75 COLOR PHOTOS TO CHOOSE FROM
- An additional, custom-edited Black & White (specific to your photos, not a simple filter!) collection of your images
- WINTER SPECIAL INCLUDES: One complimentary 8×10 archival-grade professional print (a $50 value) and access to deeply discounted digital packages below (most popular!).
Professional editing with light retouching is included on all purchased photos. Moderate and heavy retouching is available on request for extra fee.

High-Resolution Digitals with Photographer’s Print Release
Offered for 1-hour sessions January through March 20th, 2026. High-resolution digital purchases are made through your online gallery and include a photographer’s print release, so you may use your digitals for years to come – sharing online, using in cards and gifts, family slide shows, and more.
