Planning a family photo session with a newborn (whether it’s your firstborn, second, or third!) is an extraordinary opportunity. And it’s my honor to document this moment in your family’s history.
My lifestyle family photo sessions with newborns can take place in our beautiful East Bay outdoor park settings or at your home. I’m happy to discuss wherever you think you’ll be most comfortable and would like to have as the backdrop in these special photos.
Pricing for my family photo sessions with newborns start with my standard 1-hour photo session fee, (be sure to see my family photo session page and “Working with Me” info for next steps and booking info).

NEWBORN SESSION ADD-ONS:
Option 1 – Add Grandparents, Extended Family, or a Pet!
Your 1-hour session fee covers up to 5 people.
You may also add additional relatives to your family photo session for an extended family or multi-generational photo shoot. (From $35 per person beyond the first 5 people included in your session fee. Add a 4-legged family member, too, $35 per well-behaved dog.)
Include details for how many extra people (or pets) in your Photo Session Request.
Option 2 – Add Time to Your Newborn Family Photo session
Add time to your session to ensure a comfortable, relaxed pace, and plenty of time to capture baby’s expressions and interactions with the whole family.
- ½ hour longer – $100 (same full digital gallery price)
- 1 hour longer – $200 (same full digital gallery price)
Or add additional time for documentary-style family photos with your newborn – ask for a custom quote in your Photo Session Request with some details about your vision!

Milestone Session Discounts
Book additional sessions to document baby’s first year
Would you like to schedule a second, third, or fourth session during your baby’s first year (AKA “milestone sessions” for babies)? I offer these discounts on your Session Fee for each additional sessions scheduled within 12 months of your original newborn session (or your maternity couples/family session) with me:
- $25 off a 2nd session within 1 year
- $50 off a 3rd session within 1 year
- $100 off a 4th session within 1 year
